About | My Story
It all started when I was a young boy. I always loved music, singing, and joking around. I got my sense of humor from my father. At the age of 8 years old myself and 2 other kids in the neighborhood, Ron Wojck and Don Stout got a band together called the Tigers. We sang to Beatle’s 45 records. We entered a talent contest in front of 300 people and won! When I heard and saw the standing ovation I was hooked and wanted to become an Entertainer.
A big inspiration when I was growing up was Paul New, a multi-talented fabulous performer. My parents used to bring us kids to see him when he entertained. I told my mom someday I want to do what he does. I also said someday I want to be on TV, radio, and perform in Vegas. I’ve been very fortunate that I have accomplished that, and would like to give a special thanks to Jeff Hoover, WGN TV channel 9 morning producer, for all the opportunities.
Special thanks to Ron Onesti of Onesti Entertainment for Vegas and for all the great opportunities you have given me throughout the years.
I’ve been in many bands throughout the years. Rock Island Band: Scott, Glen, Mike, Karon, Lava, Steve, Mike, Ron, Rick. 24 Karat: Mike, Rick Joe, Pat, Sherri.
I’ve been performing for close to 50 years, and I’ve had many sound techs through the years, but finally found the perfect sound tech and DJ, My wife Tootsie. We have been doing shows now for 4 years. She adds so much to our show, from sound, DJ, marketing, costumes, comedic sound bites, and so much more. I’m so thankful for all she does.
I’m also thankful that I’m able to do what I love for a living. It’s absolutely my passion. I get so much joy putting smiles on the audience’s faces and creating memories that will last a lifetime. I want to thank my parents, my wife Tootsie, my brother Mike, and my sister Donna for being my number one fans and always believing in me!
